Integrated Planning and Reporting

The Gilgandra Region Community Strategic Plan 2035 (CSP) is the highest-level strategy guiding Gilgandra Shire Council, our community, and partners through to 2035 and beyond. Developed through extensive community consultation, including the 2024–2025 Community Insight Survey surveys, workshops across Gilgandra and villages, and Have Your Say, this aspirational, community-driven plan forms the central component of the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework under the Local Government Act 1993.

The CSP is Council’s highest-level planning document, serving as a blueprint that outlines the community’s vision, outcomes, and strategies for the Region under the guiding themes of Live, Enjoy, Grow, and Lead.

OUR VISION:

A Vibrant Region to Live > Enjoy > Grow that is inclusive, resilient and progressive.

Supporting the CSP is the Delivery Program and Operational Plan (DPOP), detailing the actions to be taken during this term of Council, including Council's Budget, Fees and Charges to support these initiatives, and the 10-year Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP).
