Notice of Development Proposal (DA2025/619)

On display until 21 October 2025

Notice is hereby given that a Development Application (DA) has been lodged with Gilgandra Shire Council through the NSW Planning Portal for minor building alterations, Council reference DA2025/619. The development includes the repair of trusses at St Ambrose Anglican Church, 58 Myrtle Street, Gilgandra NSW 2827 (Lots 226, 227, 228 in DP 6192, Lot D, DP 927471).

On Display Indefinitely

Sealing works will continue on Tooraweenah Mendooran Road. Maintenance work is continuing on Collie Bourbah Road and Biddon Forest Road. Works will continue on the Armatree Road Widening Program. There will be minor patching taking place across the road network. Ongoing slashing of the local highways.

Notification of firework display - Saturday, 4 October 2025

On Display Indefinitely

Council wishes to advise the community of the upcoming firework display that will be taking place at the completion of the Under the Gums event. This firework display will run for approximately 15 minutes between at approximately 9:30pm on Saturday, 4 October, 2025 between the Coo-ee Heritage and Visitor Information Centre and the Gilgandra Museum. Pet owners are advised to secure any pets.
