To reduce the risk of harm to others, our environment, and the employees at Carlginda who sort through waste by hand, please DO NOT put sharps in your household waste, recycling bin or public litter bin. Find out more about the correct disposal of sharps.

Maintenance work is occurring on Bulga Hillside Road, Berida Road, Forans Road and Grandchester Road. General roadside maintenance across the whole rural road network including slashing, sign replacement and rest area cleaning. Roadside slashing across the rural road network has commenced. Pothole and edge break repairs across the road network. Heavy patching has been paused on the Oxley Highway.

Swimming Pool Safety - Inflatable Pools

Did you know that pools holding 30cm or more of water, including portable and inflatable pools, require the same fencing as any other backyard pool? Fines for a non-compliant pool enclosure can be as high as $5,500! Kids can drown in silence or suffer serious brain injury if left unsupervised around water. Water left in kids wading pools can also breed bacteria and viruses.
