Local Roads and Street Information: 15 April 2025

On Display Indefinitely

Road maintenance is progressing on West Mialla, Tooraweenah, Tonderbrine and Gilmours Roads.
Road reconstruction works on Naden Drive were delayed due to wet weather. As a result, Naden Drive will remain closed until Monday, 28 April, weather permitting. Only local businesses will have limited access during this period.

Certification of new Bush Fire Prone Land Map

Notice is hereby given that the deputy Commissioner of NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) certified the new Bush Fire Prone Land Map 2025 for the Gilgandra Local Government Area on Wednesday, 7th March 2025. The new map can be viewed in person at Gilgandra Shire Administration, 15 Warren Road, Gilgandra.

Mens Health Education Rural Van - Wednesday, 7 May 2025

The Mens Health Education Rural Van (MHERV) is coming to Gilgandra, offering FREE health checks including blood pressure, blood sugar levels and cholesterol.
Where: Parked on Miller Street at the IGA Community Plaza
When: Wednesday, 7 May 2025 from 9:30am – 4:15pm
