Council Committees

Economic Development Committee

The Economic Development Committee has a focus on tourism, promotion and economic development of the Shire. Click here for details of the charter and membership of the Economic Development Committee

Interagency Committee

Council acts as a co-ordinator of the Interagency Committee which comprises representatives from government and non-government organisations providing service to Gilgandra. Click here to see details of the charter and membership of the Interagency Committee.

Community Committees

Council has issued delegations to the Curban Community Hall & Tennis Management Committee and the Tooraweenah Memorial Hall Committee. Click here for further details of the delegations.

Audit Risk and Improvement Committee

The Audit Risk and Improvement Charter outlines the functions of the Audit Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC).

Local Emergency Management Committee

The Local Emergency Management Committee (LEMC) is responsible for the prevention of, preparation for, response to, and recovery from emergencies within a specific local government area.

Local Traffic Committee

The Local Traffic Committee is a mandated committee, held monthly with Gilgandra Shire Council, Transport for NSW, NSW Police, and the Mayor as Local Member’s Representative. It is not open to members of the public and meets quarterly to discuss traffic issues.
