Youth services caters for youth aged up to 18 years with Breakfast Club, after school drop in centre, Youth Week and holiday programs. We offer a welcoming, friendly and safe environment. Did you know that each day 1 in 7 Australian school aged children go to school hungry? Yet starting the day will a full tummy is essential to a child’s development and class participation. As such, we offer Breakfast Club!
Supported by Gilgandra Shire Council, Kellogg’s and community volunteers, Gilgandra Youth Services offers a daily breakfast club for all school aged children.

When: 7.30am Monday – Friday (during the school term)
Who: All students from Kindergarten to Year 12
Cost: Free
Transport: Youth Services offer a pick up services around Gilgandra.
Providing a healthy start to the day with a sustaining nutritious breakfast Gilgandra Youth Services Breakfast Club encourages school attendance, social inclusions and engagement within the youth community of Gilgandra.
With GYS located within walking distance to Gilgandra High School, Gilgandra Public School and St Joseph's Catholic School, every child will be provided with the opportunity to walk to school safely under the supervision of GYS staff and volunteers.

GYS is open until 5pm, Monday to Friday, with staff allowance for pick-ups from After School Drop-In until 5.30pm.
The Gilgandra Youth Services offers family and individualised youth focused support.
Focusing on young individuals education, health and employment issues through advocacy, transport, practical assistance, referral, court support, parenting programs, life skills and social emotional support, Gilgandra Youth Services looks to provide a better, brighter start in life for the youth of Gilgandra.
