Aero Park Residential Subdivision

Council approved a development application for its 'Aero Park Estate' subdivision that comprises 57 residential lots. Stage 1 has commenced on the subdivision, which includes the construction of 34 residential lots.

Gilgandra Cultural Precinct (GCP) Overnight Parking Trial commenced in May 2023. Leveraging increased regional travel, the trial aims to boost local economic impact and enhance the Gilgandra Region to travellers as a great place to visit, explore and stay.

Joy Trudgett Gallery

Joy Trudgett was a proud Wiradjuri woman who was an active leader in the local Aboriginal community. She advocated for Aboriginal affairs, believed in self-determination, and dedicated her life to bettering the livelihoods of both the Aboriginal and broader community of Gilgandra.

The timber Lucas Bridge structure has been replaced with a new reinforced concrete bridge.

Meet Me @ Miller Street

The Meet Me @ Miller Street project sees a connection and activation of our CBD through rationalising unused space behind the main street shops, creating a Shared Zone in this area, filling blank canvas laneways and spilling greenery and creativity out onto our main street.
