2026 Senior Citizen of the Year Nominations

Do you know a senior citizen who is active in the community and deserves recognition? If so, nominate them for 2026 Senior Citizen of the Year!

Nomination forms can be downloaded here(PDF, 57KB) or hardcopies are available from:

  • Councils Administration Offices
  • Gil Care Connect, 41 Miller Street

Nominations close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 and should be returned to:

Please note: 

  • The nominee cannot be a couple.
  • The nominee must be 60 years or over AND be retired from full time work
