Council advises residents and businesses that the current stage of CBD improvement works is progressing well and nearing completion.
Paving works will shortly commence to the area at the rear of the GIL Library Hub. During these works, southbound vehicle access beyond the Library Hub roundabout will be temporarily closed, affecting access and parking to the rear of Miller St for some nearby businesses. Motorists are encouraged to follow all signage and use alternative parking where required.
Works within the IGA carpark are being finalised, with access continuing to be restored as stages complete.
Weather permitting, this set of works are expected to be completed by the end of this weekend. Council thanks the community for its continued patience and cooperation as these important improvements are delivered.
