NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL

Notice is hereby given that Gilgandra Shire Council has received a Development Application for a Sand Quarry, lodged with Gilgandra Shire Council by Geolink environmental management and design.

The proposed development will be on land known as Lot 39 DP 753375, 2719 East Coonamble Road, Curban NSW 2827.

The proposal involves sand extraction up to 30,000m³ per annum.

The development application for the proposed development and accompanying Environmental Impact Statement may be inspected from 21 February 2022 to 17 March 2022 at Gilgandra Shire Administration, 15 Warren Road, Gilgandra, NSW 2827.

Any interested person may, within the aforementioned period, make written submission to the Gilgandra Shire Council with respect to such proposed development. If your comments are an objection, then the grounds of the objection must be specified.

Any submissions that you wish to make on this proposal may be included without alteration (including names and addresses) in reports that are available to the public, in Council business papers (which are published on Council's Website) and also made available to the applicant for comment during consideration of the development application. Anonymous submissions may be given less (or no) weight in consideration of the proposal.
