Childcare Strategy

The Childcare Strategy seeks to understand quantifiable data related to current and future needs of child-care of ages spanning 0-12, including early childhood, before and after school care and holiday care.

Insight Consulting Australia are working with GSC to deliver the Child Care Strategy, with a long background in youth services, government and strategic work, we are excited to see their data analysis and consultation review, along with action plan for delivery by our community.

Community surveys are now complete. Watch this space for important updates, with the Draft report to be released in May.

  • An Online Community Consultation Session will be held at 4pm on Tuesday, 7 May 2024. This session will be presented by Insight Consulting Australia and will discuss the draft findings and recommended actions to form the report regarding Childcare in Gilgandra. 

To hear about the survey and desktop research findings, and the recommendations for the action plan, please attend this Community Consultation which everyone in the community is welcome to attend.
