Businesses

• Commercial Waste CBD: two waste bins collected twice per week (being the immediate CBD area, Wednesday and Friday) and two recycling bins collected fortnightly (as per the collection calendar here).
• Commercial Waste Other: two waste bins collected weekly (being for businesses and industrial premises outside the immediate CBD area in Gilgandra, Wednesday) and two recycling bins collected fortnightly (as per the collection calendar here).
• Commercial Waste Villages: two waste, two recycling bins collected as per the Village waste collection calendar (as per the collection calendar here).

Please note, as of 1 July 2025:

• Only waste bins will be collected on waste collection days, and only recycling bins will be collected on recycling days.
• Additional bins not included in the above services will not be picked up by the contractor. Should commercial customers wish to have extra bins, the following options are available:

2. If you are currently categorised as Commercial Waste Other and would like to access the second waste pickup on Fridays, and/or pay for additional waste collections in accordance with Council’s Fees and Charges, please contact Council on 6817 8800 to arrange. Please note: charges only apply to the waste collection service, residents and businesses are responsible for purchasing their own bins from local hardware stores.
   • Waste bin – dark green bin/dark green lid
   • Recycling bin – dark green body/yellow lid

• Organise alternative services with a commercial waste contractor
