As part of National Volunteer Week, held next week from 19-25 May, Gilgandra Shire Council (GSC) is excited to celebrate our #LocalLegend volunteers and community groups with a morning tea and information session in recognition of the incredible contributions volunteers make to our community every day. We encourage those interested in volunteering to come along and chat with these invaluable pillars of our community to find out more about volunteering and how you can get involved to Give Back in Gil!

The event will serve as an opportunity to celebrate our volunteers in the community whilst promoting local volunteerism to the wider Region with the aim of getting more locals involved.
