Under The Gums 2023 + Goin’ To Gil Weekend Festivities!

Tickets are selling fast for the Under the Gums Gilgandra 2023 event, with a wide line up of activities over the whole Goin’ to Gil festival weekend program released!
Economic Development Committee Chair, Cr Gail Babbage says the weekend is set to be full of ways you can enjoy the Gilgandra Region.
“You might be heading this way for Under the Gums, and this year it is great to see our local businesses and community groups get behind the event, and bring out their own full program of events and activities for visitor and locals alike to enjoy this September weekend”
Adding,
“From lead up entertainment the night before, Miller Street shopping, WarFm broadcasting live in our main street, family entertainment, bowls, BBQ breakkies, plant sales, there is something for everyone!”
Cr Babbage encourages Gilgandra residents, family, friends and all those interested in a great weekend to secure your tickets today!
“General admission tickets to the Under the Gums event are free and must be secured through the 123Tix. Be sure to get a ticket for all those attendees, including children! Or Level Up for just $30 to enjoy front of stage access, merch and no lines to the Collie Hotel bar, Salt Bush Lamb food and amenities areas. We encourage you to get in early, as Level Up tickets are limited!”
“The Under the Gums event will be followed by the official After Party hosted by Gilgandra Sporties, from 10.30pm to continue to dance the night away.”
“Stick around the next morning with a full menu breakfast at the Gilgandra Services Club, or a BBQ breakfast followed by a game of Golf at the Gilgandra Golf Club.”
Cr Babbage says that transport and accommodation will be available for all those wishing to attend the event.
“We have teamed up with the local pubs, clubs and accommodation providers to have a bus running on a loop around Gilgandra to ensure access to and from the event. If you’re heading out from Dubbo, jump on a bus from the Dubbo Visitor Information Centre leaving at 4.30pm, returning to Dubbo after the event!”
“Or if you would like to stay overnight, Gilgandra Region has provided an accommodation information package from caravanning, motels or cabins to stay. The Gilgandra Showground is also offering camping from just $10 per person.”
