The Community Care office in Miller Street has altered its opening hours, with services continuing to be provided as normal to clients.
The office is open from 9am to 11:30 am each morning. Calls to the services will continue to be taken 8:30am to 5:00pm daily on 6817 8750.
Requests for transport need to be made with Community Care with at least 24 hours notice, to allow arrangements to be made. Transport to Dubbo is now limited to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays and we are working with General Practitioners and medical specialist services to set appointments on these days where possible.
These service changes are being implemented to assist our staff and volunteers to continue to deliver Meals on Wheels and community transport to Dubbo and locally within Gilgandra.
