Published on 31 August 2018

An information session for businesses will be held on Tuesday, 4 September at the Gilgandra Sporties from 5pm – 6.30pm.

The session will focus on Council processes and requirements including insurances, WHS, quotation and tender processes, briefly discuss wider projects that are happening in our region as well as offer the opportunity for your feedback.

General Manager, David Neeves says,

“This is a great opportunity for local businesses to be involved in these projects. We are encouraging anyone in our Shire community that has trade skills or provides products or services and wishes to be considered for future Council project opportunities to attend this session.”

Adding,

“Council’s General Fund Capital Works budget for 2018/19 exceeds $14m and a number of these projects will involve the use of external contractors and sub-contractors with opportunities for associated local purchase of goods and services.”

Upcoming projects include building construction and renovation, civil work including water and sewer infrastructure upgrades, parks, gardens and oval upgrades and more.
