Who, what, and how…

Who can join?

Anyone who lives in Gilgandra Shire!

What is required?

  • Some form of ID showing your current address
  • Those under 18 need to be enrolled by a parent or guardian at the Library

 

How many items can I borrow?

Initially, you can borrow up to 4 items at a time. When you have returned these loans three times, you can move on to borrow up to 15 items, including 2 DVDs per person at any one time. There is a maximum limit of 3 DVDs per family.

 

How long can I keep my items?

  • Items may be borrowed for a three week period
  • DVDs may be borrowed for one week
  • Overdue charges apply if the items are returned late, but you can ask us to renew the items before the due date.  You can do this by telephone (6817 8877) or in person. You can also renew online by logging in at http://nwls.spydus.com, using your library card number as “Borrower ID” and your PIN/password. If you do not know your password, please contact the library to ask for a reset (6817 8877). Please note: items that have been reserved for another reader cannot be renewed.

 

Internet access

We offer Nine public access computers, with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. USB drives can be used.

Free usage (time limit may apply)

40c per page printing or photocopying (black & white).  

 

Wireless hotspot access

Ask at the counter for a password ticket for free wireless access. 

(Forms need to be completed to use internet/ wireless hotspot.  Under 18s need guardian or parent to complete forms).
