There’s a great deal of support available to people in drought-affected regions, but it can be hard to stay across all of the assistance that is on offer at the national, state and local level. The following gives some guidance to where you can find more information.

Rural Financial Counselling Service
Rural Adversity Mental Health Program
Rural communities need continued support to sustain mental wellbeing and to prevent mental health problems and deaths by suicide.
The Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health (CRRMH) is committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of farmers, their families and drought-affected communities.
The Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP) is a major program linking people to appropriate mental health support through training workplace and community members to recognise and provide support to someone who they think may be experiencing a mental health problem.
For information on local mental health and rural support services, RAMHP has developed a guide to assist in navigating pathways to care.
